Record-breaking soya beans bumper harvest sets new milestone for Kaleya Smallholders Company Ltd.

Kascol, is ecstatic to announce an extraordinary achievement in the form of a bumper harvest for their soya beans crop. Planted in November 2022 across an expansive 152-hectare area, this year’s harvest has shattered all previous records, yielding an astounding 456 tonnes. With an average yield of 3 tonnes per hectare, the total output equates to a remarkable 8,937 bags, marking the largest harvest ever witnessed by Kascol.

The triumph of this bumper harvest can be attributed to the combined efforts of the dedicated agronomic team at Kascol and favorable agricultural conditions throughout the season. With meticulous planning and meticulous care, the Agric team worked tirelessly to ensure optimal growth and maximize yield potential.

The extensive plantation of soya beans provided ample room for the crops to flourish and thrive. Kascol’s agronomists employed advanced techniques, leveraging precision farming methods and state-of-the-art irrigation systems, to maintain ideal growing conditions and minimize wastage.
